2 million dollar party
In 1971 GS reached 2 million dollars in sales so we had a party and celebrated with champagne, I'm sure it was Steve Stadler's idea. This first photo is of the front office in West Concord. The wall mural entitled "BULLS AND WOMEN" was an abstract representation by Paul Ziff who was teaching at Harvard. On the right is Rowena Winik, Steve Porter in the middle and I don't recognize the 2nd girl, maybe one of you can help me out.
In the second photo, the collage, Steve Porter and Norm Tursky are pouring the champagne. This is just one of the reasons why working at Grason-Stadler was so nice. The atmosphere and comradery that was present there made it very special.
