Solid State Instruments
The 1200 series solid state behavioral research system consisted of the 1208 power supply, the 1201 module case, plus the signal conversion units, for performing interface functions between the system and the devices with which it communicates; control units, including logic, counting and timing devices, and equipment for centralized control of entire programs; data acquisition units, such as counters and digital printers and recorders; analog units, for generation and control of AC waveforms; and basic support equipment, including power supplies, module cases and relay racks, cables and patch cords. Most of the module units were active requiring external power from the 1208 power supply but the 1293 attenuator module was a passive device and functioned without external power.
