GR Experimenter

The General Radio Experimenter was a quarterly publication known to engineers and students throughout the United States and many parts of the world. It was discontinued in the early 70's and replaced with GR/TODAY. Coreen Geary and I appeared on the cover of the Experimenter, volume 44, Fall 1970, when GS became a wholly owned subsidiary of GR. The photo was taken at GS in West Concord. The 1703 Industrial Screening Audiometer would become a work horse in the industry for many years. GS had designed an on-board X-Y plotter that worked flawlessly and was so reliable that it was used in other instruments such as the 1702 Clinical Audiometer, 1722 and 1723 Middle-ear Analyzers.
